Under the strong and hands on leadership of Barangay Captain Alma Otero and the ever dedicated Barangay Council, the streets and drainage systems of Poblacion, Pateros are undergoing a major cleanup through a declogging operation that has been ongoing for 7 straight days with April 8, 2025 marking Day 7 of this continued effort.
Declogging operations cover canals, esteros, and street drains, where years of built up waste, silt, and debris are being removed to restore proper flow and function. The campaign not only improves sanitation but also helps reduce the risk of waterborne diseases especially dengue and leptospirosis. This community effort is made possible with the active coordination of the Barangay Council, composed of hardworking officials who continue to be visible and involved in every step of the operation.
With the declogging operation still ongoing, Barangay Poblacion remains committed to keeping the community safe, clean, and ready rain or shine.
